the brief wondrous life of oscar wao by Junot Diaz

The perspective of its characters is differently portrayed and described by the author Junot Diaz in the fictional novel The brief wondrous life of Oscar Wao. using an explicit harsh tone to connect the tragic experiences of its characters to love and the "fuku" a curse taunting them and holding them back from ever achieving true happiness. Beginning with Oscar then his sister Lola continuing to his mother Belicia and so on, all different tragic experiences but somehow still closely connected to each other affecting who they develop into.
The author uses the common teenage girl and mother bond to describe Lola's experience. Falling in love for the first time giving herself blindly to what she believed was the only one Many. constantly arguing with her mother even wishing her death never seeing eye to eye, disappointment and fear constantly revolved her, but it didn't begin like that. As a young girl Lola was always the one to follow all her mothers wishes and instructions never questioning it much less disagreeing with it. But still even though she always did as told was always bullied and put down by her mother. Her whole childhood and young teenage was in hopes to please her mom and finally gain acceptance. when her endless attempts failed her she began to rebel, wasn't intended just elevated. When Many showed her something she never had before she fell instantly, didn't want to loose what she had finally obtained. making the same constant mistake. "Lola had just broken up with her boyfriend for like the tenth time"...pg 48. She ran off with him promising to not look back, her mother not worried or upset she was rather angered and furious.

As I was reading, the introduction was great, you had a great thesis statement and prepared the reader for what was coming up. You provided a tone word which most people fail to include. A room for improvement would be in the body paragraph you did include some analysis but only one evidence so I couldn't connect the analysis with anything. Great job!

Great introduction and explanation of book but I feel if you would've provided more evidence the analysis would've been more insightful.
